The 47th Annual Conference theme is “A Legacy of Greatness: A Future of Promise.”

We will celebrate our year of achievement and honor outstanding attorneys and judges as well as those individuals and corporations who have made significant contributions to the community.

Fields, Honorable Gail O’Rane, Carl Douglas, Reginald Roberts, Jr., the Equal Justice Society, The Bar Association of San Francisco, Tony West, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland and California Supreme Court Associate Justices Leondra Kruger, Marty Jenkins and Kelli Evans.

Since its inception, CABL has provided leadership in eradicating racism, ensuring justice within the legal system, securing African-American judicial appointments and building the professional capacity of African-American lawyers and judges in the great State of California. CABL is an affiliate of the National Bar Association and is the only statewide legal professional organization which represents the interests of African-American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students in the State of California.
